Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. I received my PhD (2017) in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
Prior to academic appointment, I was a Research Scientist at the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) and a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
My research focuses on personality at work. I have given dozens of conference presentations and published my research in top tier peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, American Psychologist, Psychological Methods, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA. I have received several scholarly awards, including the 2021 Joyce & Robert Hogan Award for Personality and Work Performance from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and was named an APS Rising Star from the Association for Psychological Science. My work also has been covered in several popular press outlets, including the BBC, Forbes, and Psychology Today.
